Woolly Wally Large Mobile
Description
4 large woolly wallies jumping wooden hurdles- what could be better to help you get to sleep (NB sleep not guaranteed).
All hang from a wire loop 30cm across covered in ribbon and extra ribbon to enable to hang from the ceiling.
Each woolly wally is hand crafted so no two are alike, giving each their own ewe-nique personality. Approx length each figurine is 9cm.
Various coloured ribbon used. One here is turquoise. Please enquire for other colours.
Hanging length approx 40cm from wire hoop.
Comes packaged in cardboard gift box to keep it nice and safe.
All wool used is from rare and traditional sheep breeds. The one pictured is Herdwick sheep wool.
Please note although there are no small parts in this item there is a risk of choke from shedding fibres if a child is allowed to chew on the wallies so please keep out of reach of young children. THIS ITEM IS NOT A TOY.
Inspiration
My pet sheep are my joy and inspiration. I am a keen rare breed enthusiast and animal welfarist, so using the wool of well cared for sheep is more appropriate to me than buying wool from unknown sources.
I would especially steer away from Australian merino wool on animal welfare grounds.
It does mean i am responsible for processing the raw fleece before use but i like the connection from my shearing (many of ) the sheep to washing and carding through to eventually crafting it into a replica of the animals the wool came from!
Some people say im baaaahhh-my, but i think there are lots of sheep enthusiasts out there too! Are ewe one....?
