Sunbleached Ripple Mosaic Bird Water Bath Garden Ornament
This birdbath would look great in a garden border adding colour, or as a feature on a patio, or deck. Ideal for birds to bathe in and other wildlife to drink from. A perfect gift for a gardening mum for mothers day to add colour to the garden.
This listing is for the bird bath saucer only. The saucer can be used freestanding on the ground. Or, if you would like to raise it up, you could use an upturned terracotta flower pot (around 13-15cm would be ideal - see pic).
Item Details
A 25cm diameter terracotta saucer with a mosaic made out of vitreous glass tiles, including clear glass, and iridescent. The mosaic is finished with a cement grey grout that is designed to repel algae and mold.

Use
This item is for exterior use as all material used are frost resistant. I would drain the bath if it is likely to freeze though, as I'm not sure how the mosaic will react to being encased in ice.

Inspiration
The Design
This Ripple bird bath design has mostly pastels used to give a lovely effect of the sun bleaching the colours. There is a ripple of iridescent tiles next to the pebble to give the impression of a reflection. There is also a ripple of transparent glass to give depth to the design. The rest of the mosaic ripples are in shades of green, aqua, and blue. The bird bath border is pale grey.
CUSTOM ORDER Please note - this pattern is offered over a series of bird baths and will be a custom make, so there will be a slight delay before shipping. I will inform you ASAP how long it will be before I will be able to ship. Also, although the tile colours will be the same, there may be a different colour stone, but it will be in keeping with the design.
