Practical and Pretty Apron
Description
This really pretty and practical apron was made from an unused floral dress and the strings were made from the lining - recycling and re-using at its best.
The size was governed by the size of the dress and it measures 31.5" long x 17.5" wide. I am 5'7" tall and not terribly slim!!! and it fits me perfectly.
The fabric has a clear, contemporary, floral design which will brighten any kitchen and is cotton with another man made element making it easy to care for.
It may be machine washed at 40 deg.
Inspiration
I love to seek out fabrics which can be re-used and when at a car boot fair at the end of last September, I came upon a stall selling really good quality ladies' clothes.
I came home with several really pretty dresses which were immediately washed, pressed and cut up to reuse to make pretty and practical items.
This apron is one of these and more will be appearing in my shop in the near future.
