Air Mail Linoprint ref 159
An original two colour hand pressed linocut print from an edition of 50.

The inspiration behind this print was the lovely colour combination between red and blue which reminded me of Air Mail packaging, with the angled stripes of red and blue. Then the song words "I sent a letter to my love" came into my head. I then combined these with an old Victorian post box we have in Buxton, called a Penfold, it is so decorative with the leaf motifs on the roof of the box. I also added some postal stamps because I like them!

Size of printed area approx H 27.5cm x W 20cm. Printed onto thick 210g Zerkall paper.

This print will be dispatched in a clear fronted bag and sandwiched between two pieces of card for safe transit.
