Dupion silk has an uneven texture which gives it its character. The natural weave makes each piece of fabric unique. The appliqué lettering is hand cut from 100%wool fabric, and then carefully machine sewn into place with small zigzag stitch. The back is a lovely quality linen union in a light stone.
