Clock-Upcycled-Vintage Kodak No1 Autographic Junior Camera Geekery

Description

This camera was probably made sometime between 1915 and 1926. It was made by Canadian Kodak Co. Ltd in Toronto, Canada and in Rochester, NY, USA by Eastman Kodak Company. Converted to a clock by me February, 2012.

Inspiration

I bought this camera recently from a junk shop. It has a real nostalgic charm and I would love to know where it went snapping. Taking it apart to install the clock movement I was bowled over by the engineering of the shutter mechanism. It was quite reminiscent of the inside of an old watch. Of course the camera is no longer functional but it does make an interesting clock
Please remember that this is an old camera and it has been used a lot and shows signs of its age but I hope that now, as a clock, it will continue for many years to come.
The photograph in the background is an old black and white photo showing sheep being moved in a snowy Devon lane.

The camera comes with a battery and an instructions showing how to insert the battery.

This is an excellent gift for any geek especially anyone interested in photography.
