This lovely and unusual necklace is a one of a kind piece.

IT was something that seemed to almost create itself, as I went into making it with no set idea of what I was going to do. I just let the materials guide me as I went along.

So, as a result, I am very happy with how it has turned out!

The frame of the heart is constructed with Sterling silver wire, which I manipulated into the twists, turns and spirals you see in the photos. I also hammered the frame to give it an interesting texture.

I then wire wrapped the white freshwater Cornflake pearls and tiny seed pearls randomly throughout the frame, again using Sterling silver wire.

I then suspended the newly formed heart from a very pretty and dainty Figure of Eight Sterling silver chain, which fastens with one of my own Sterling hook and eye clasps.

The length of the chain is 17 inches and the pendant adds on another 2 6/8 inches.
