Cheerful spring and Easter bunnies, for doorstops, paperweights and book ends. Or just to sit and look cute..

Each bunny is made from two lovely fabrics - this one has a duck egg blue jacquard back and a Rose & Hubble floral print cotton front. The faces are hand embroidered and the bunnies have black bead eyes backed by a teeny circle of pale buff-coloured felt.

They are about 16cm (6") tall with ears about 11cm (4") and weigh about 600g (1lb 5 oz) give or take.

To give a nice trianglly sort of shape (these rabbits cuddle perfectly in two hands) their front is reinforced with bondaweb, giving a firmer feel that sort of crinkles a bit too when you prod them. I use it on the ears as well.

The bunnies are filled with poly beads - I admit it's not as eco-friendly as rice, but we felt (being rural here) that it was better not to have the mice eating your doorstop! Every seam is carefully double-sewn and the edges zig zagged on the inside to prevent fraying and give lovely strong seams.

Because of the bead eyes and poly bead filling, the bean bunnies are definitely not toys and are not suitable for children. If you would like a toy one, please get in touch as we can make a special bunny just for your young friend, carefully filled with child-friendly toy filling and with Kawaii-cute embroidered eyes instead of bead ones.
