The platter is 485mm diameter by 48 mm deep. A beautifully marked piece of wood that has great character. Yes you can see through the bottom where there a bark occlusion The platter is turned with a featured rim.

I have finished this bowl with sanding sealer and then several coats of Danish Oil which give it a hard wearing satin luster finish.
This would make a great statement on a table with or without fruit in it.
