Jigsaw Suncatcher Stained Glass Handmade

Description

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is an abstract design which I call jigsaw as that is what it looks like to me and describes how I have to fit the pieces together.
It is a bejewelled jigsaw made from 16 pieces of individually shaped glass in gorgeous shades of turquoise, purple and blues with lots of different textures. In between the pieces there are 8 little shiny jewels in toning colours (glass nuggets)and there is a large central swirly white nugget as a focal point.
This is 12 cm square and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely soldered to the top corner of the suncatcher.

This suncatcher would make a lovely present . It is totally individual as is everything I make. I never make two pieces exactly the same, even from the same design as I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I have included five photos of the suncatcher to try to show you the different colours and the textures of the glass in different lights.
The sun was shining as I took some of the pictures and the jewels sparkled beautifully.

Inspiration

Loved the idea of incorporating jewels into a glass jigsaw. When I make some of my suncatchers it is just like putting a jigsaw together.
