The festive jingle of ice cubes in a cocktail jug is just the thing for banishing the winter blues at your new year party, keep it in your fridge and because it's ceramic it'll stay chilled until your guests are ready to serve.

Hand thrown on my pottery wheel with British stoneware clay this jug features a distinctive bulbed shape, a sturdy pulled handle and a generous pouring lip to provide a steady flow. The glaze has a rich glossy finish to the touch and is glazed in a striking ruby red.

It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your table and it has been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal marking it out as a handcrafted jug.

This jug can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

The jug is 4.2 inches (10.7 cm) in diameter and 4.3 inches (11 cm) in height.

As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
