Handmade Lace Corsage
Description
This lace brooch has a lovely vintage feel. It is part of a collection of corsages inspired by seed pods and their shape, colour and layers. Made from lace, handmade felt, found bits and bobs and then hand embellished.
This large corsage is 4 inches in diameter and has a silver brooch pin on the back so can be attached to hats, lapels, bags, coats, scarves... you decide!
Inspiration
I draw my inspiration from a variety of sources, predominantly exploring nature, but my passion for seed pods is my main focus. They find their way into my pockets to be brought home from walks, nature’s treasures whose shape, colour, texture, layers and patterns influence my work.
