Angel of Love - made from coffee and cinnamon dyed linen, sanded back for primitive lovliness. She has a painted paper clay face, rubbed back to appear aged and chipped, which has then been coated in paper varnish. Her hair which has been partially glued, as well as needle felted to her head ,is washed Leicester Blue Faced fleece.The bodice of her dress is woven cotton gingham, trimmed with pale pink satin (which was originally a 30's table cover - probably from the boudoir) ! The rose and heart have been made from the same satin. The heart has 'The Key to Love' attached. Her skirt is layers of tulle with a white cotton petticoat.On her reverse are her wings which are made from plastic, machine embroidered with silver thread and then attached with a mother of pearl button.
Angel is sold as a collectable and not suitable for children.
