This piece features a hand-embroidered illustration of a dark haired lass caught in a warm summer breeze on white linen/cotton mix.

The line of poetry is also hand embroidered and the illustration is embellished with a coral and peach coloured printed cotton,felt and vintage lace trims

Mounted in a beech coloured wooden embroidery hoop,it is been backed with beige wool mix felt and is ready to 'pretty' any wall or cosy shelf.

Measures approx 7"(18cm) across and comes gift wrapped so all ready to give as gift (or simply keep for yourself)

This series of embroidered illustrations are inspired by childhood memories of endless summer wanderings and incorporate small extracts of the poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson.
