Item details

The first wonky owl was born in 2010 after many drawings, templates and tests. He recently went to a new home but will always be remembered here at Make and Do HQ. The first owl soon had a flock of owl friends which were available to buy from August 2010. In October 2010 wonky owl love was spread as some lucky crafters became the first to make their own at Make and Do Craft Club for grown ups. Soon after the first wonky owl kits were being sold at craft markets around Bristol. In January 2011 a small flock of wonky owls escaped and temporarily settled in the window at Broadwalk Arts. A wonky bunny and wonky chick were born just in time for a craft club workshop before Easter 2012 (these will beavailable in kit form later this year). The instructions were simplified and packaging re-designed for the wonky owl kits to make it possible for more to be born across the country- these were launched in July 2011. The Rose Owl of 2012 has now been replaced with this pink floral owl for 2013.
