About Harriet's Chair
Harriet's chair is based on a Traditional Cromwellian design. It has a European Oak frame which has been stained with a medium oak stain and french polished to provide a beautiful traditional child's chair.
Similar in style to Herbert Pickle's chair, Harriet's chair features a drop in seat giving it a daintier look and allowing more of the oak frame to be on show.
The drop in seat is secured in place with two screw fixings underneath to prevent little hedgehogs removing it, but can easily be re-upholstered when required. It also features a comfortable upholstered back with studded edge detail.
A comfortable and practical little chair that any little hedgehog would be pleased to sit on.

About Harriet
Harriet Butterfield lives at Oak Tree Farm in Little Hog lane and is married to Ted Butterfield the farmer.
When Harriet isn't at the farm she is busy running the Little Hog Lane tea rooms where all the locals and visitors go for there scrumptious cream teas. She is particularly well known for her delicious chocolate and blackberry cake that is loved by all who have tasted it.
She is a very chatty member of the community and likes nothing better than a hot cup of nettle tea sat on her Little Hog Lane Chair talking to her friends in the tea rooms.
Inspiration
I couldn't find a traditional well built child's chair for my then one year old daughter, so my dad made her a beautiful traditional chair. Everyone that saw it loved it and so I started to design other styles and now design, french polish and upholster the chairs so other little people and hogs can enjoy a beautiful little chair of their own.
