Description
The humorous rhyming story of Bill, a bear-faced man who struggles to find friends due to his compulsive lying.
The lively and distinctive illustrations tell a textural tale, created through the use of hand embroidery, drawing, collage, found materials and 3D objects.
This cute little book is laser printed, then cut and assembled by hand into a double concertina pamphlet, measuring approx. 15.5cm by 11cm when closed.
Limited edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist/author.
Suitable for children but perhaps better appreciated by adults in touch with their inner child!

Inspiration
I enjoy telling tales of whimsical, anthropomorphic characters, and the pun 'bear-faced liar' was too good to resist! In my illustrations, I look for ways to bring together the different techniques I am interested in, resulting in a very lively mix of media.
'Bill the Bear-Faced Liar' was debuted in hardback and paperback at Thought Bubble Comic Convention 2011.
