This brooch is made from a small, heart shaped tile of earthenware clay which is fired then hand painted with a bright sunny yellow earthenware glaze before a second firing. You could pin it to your coat, your bag or your dress!

The tile has been fired twice to over 1000C before attaching the brooch pin, so is durable and smooth. The shiny glaze has a slight decorative crackle and it is colourfast so the colour will not rub off on your clothes and will not fade.
