The Days Are Long But The Years Are Short Screenprint
Description
The days are long but the years are short. The perfect gift for a new (or not so new) parent.
I drew the typography for this print by hand inspired by the cut out letter forms of the 1950s. This print was screenprinted in bright shades of orange, yellow, pink, green and blue in my tiny home studio (whilst drinking lots of cups of tea). See photos of the studio here http://flic.kr/s/aHsjuWxguton Printed on Seawhite 140gsm cartridge paper.
Fits an Ikea 'Ribba' frame - see photo.

PLEASE NOTE! I ship these prints in sturdy cardboard tubes. I try to recycle packaging whenever possible, let me know if you'd prefer a brand spanking new tube to a preloved one!
Inspiration
This print is for all the mamas and papas out there! When my son was born everyone said "they grow up so fast" and they were so right! Sometimes the days with a tiddler are long but the years whizz by at lightning speed. This print is the perfect reminder to enjoy every day. A lovely inspirational motto for new (or not so new) parents.
