Bee my Valentine bee Hotel, lovingly embellished with pyrography design
Description
Bee Hotel made by London Clay Birds
Since the honeybee has been in decline we have become more reliant on our bumblebees to pollinate our plants and crops. Some solitary bumblebees, like the leaf cutter and mason bee search for dry hollow plant stems to make a nest and lay their eggs. Indeed, other insects such as lacewings and ladybirds need a place to shelter that replicates the spaces between bricks or plant stems. That’s where this insect hotel comes into play. Hang this against your house or fence and it will provide sanctuary to these wonderful beneficial bugs.
This insect accommodation has been made using reclaimed timber and other found material.
Uniquely and lovingly embellished with a pyrography bee design.
Ideally, place on a south or east-facing wall.
