The saying is great for spurring you on to make a change or appreciate what you have, perfect if you have made some New Years resolution that you need some inspiration to helo you stick to. I first saw this phrase when watching coverage of the marathon and thought it was brilliantly determined. The arrows used as decoration show the inevitable passage of time and the change in thinking.

As part of my work as a graphic designer I use, and love, type a lot so I enjoy being able to bring that into my craft and illustration work. I hand render all the text in pencil which is then blocked in using India Ink onto bright white board for scanning. The print is digitally coloured in professional illustration software and digitally printed onto heavy card stock.

The handwritten text and uncoated card give this print a wonderful feel and each one comes signed by me.
