Candy Pink Flower

A handmade ribbon flower in a soft candy pink ribbon yarn finished with a lemony yellow button centre. Wouldn't it make a great finishing touch in a little girl's bedroom?
My quirky artificial flowers are the perfect flowers to brighten up any corner. Great for hay fever sufferers, they are guaranteed never to need watering and will not wilt or drop petals all over the place!
I make these flowers on my vintage flower loom. Each flower has a different button centre in lemon yellow, and is securely stitched to a pale green fabric wrapped stem. The stem is quite flexible and can be bent or even wrapped around something. The weight of the flower head gives the stem a natural curve when they are displayed in a vase.
The flowers are 3" (8cm) across and the stems are 9" (23cm) long (measurements are approximate). As the flowers are all individually handmade they may vary slightly from the photographs shown.
Inspiration
ffflowers were born when I was experimenting with my set of vintage flower looms one day. I added a button centre and a stem to my flower and found I had come up with something a bit different from the usual.
Now I create ffflowers from all sorts of different materials, ranging from beautiful ribbons hand-dyed in the UK, to novelty yarns, and even upcycled plastic packaging.
I know I'm biased, but I think they're a whole lot more fun than regular artificial flowers and they make lovely accessories too. I hope you agree!
