John Lennon Talisman Necklace - Beatles Era
Description
I made this Replica of John's Famous Talisman Necklace, which he wore from 1967 onwards. He was pictured wearing his on the Two Virgins Album Cover.
The Talisman is Hand Crafted in quality Leather, with Daisy flowers painted & varnished to match John's Original Necklace . I have distressed the eyelets by sanding them slightly. There are blue glass beads either side of the talisman. I have used decorative buttons with a design similar to the ones on Johns Original Talisman.
The necklace closes with a snap fastener and the length is approximately 20 inches.
I am proud to say that my Talisman Necklace will be worn by the cast in a new London West End Show about the Beatles, which opens in September 2012.
Each Necklace will be made to order. Due to the individual nature of each piece and variations in leather, your Talisman may differ slightly from the photograph.

Inspiration
I made the first Talisman Necklace for my husband, who is a huge Fan of the Beatles. He encouraged me to make them for sale so that fellow Beatles fans could own one for themselves :)
