Inspiration

I have been making these unique little boat mobiles for several years. Each one is totally different due to the process I use. I piece together pieces of waste stained glass together into pleasing boat shapes and then fire them in the kiln so they melt into each other. When cool, I string them on local driftwood with beads and found items off the beach.
I always used to copper foil the edges but now I can use my kiln to fuse the glass together these mobiles are made entirely from recycled items, other than the hanging hooks!
