Slipper socks size 10 - 12
Description
Another pair of my sought after slipper socks. These are UK size 10 to 12 in shades of blue with blue tops, and have a bit of mohair in the yarn mix. I take lots of odd bits of wool, wind them into a huge ball of two or three strands and knit the socks from that, with these I have added yet another strand of wool, the mohair, to make what must the the warmest, cosyest socks yet and so thick and hardwearing as to be almost bomb proof!
Mixed yarn so handwash only, if they ever need washing!
Never have cold feet again!

Inspiration
My aim is to make useful things out of materials that are discarded. Turning down the thermostat in the home saves money in this time of austeritery and saves a little bit of green house gas.
You can feel virtuous with warm feet just as well as you can with cold feet!
