Recycled Chromoid Condiment Spoon Tie Pin with Blue Faux Enamel
Description
This beautiful and decorative tie pin has been made from a chromoid condiment spoon. The spoon has a thin handle which flares slightly at the end, and this has been bent back on itself to form the slide part of the tie pin. The bowl of the spoon has been filled with vitrea 160 glass paint, in a nautical blue colour, to give the illusion of an enamelled panel.
The tie pin is 4.3cm long.
This item was made by myself in the heart of Leicestershire, in my little workshop. I love making jewellery, and I'm always trying to find unusual aspects of jewellery, and incorporate mixed media into my items, to give something that is as unique as it is beautiful.
