Let your child explore a variety of different fastenings with this appealing and unusual fabric book.
Each fleece-padded page has been designed to help young girls familiarise, develop and practise a range of fine motor skills required to fix all sorts of fastenings.
The engaging designs on each page are made entirely from fabric with added embellishments. A different skill is introduced on each page and includes, zips, poppers, buttons and tying bows or laces.

I wanted to make a book for children to help develop finger dexterity to enable them to become independent when dressing themselves. As a primary school teacher I am constantly amazed and disappointed at how children struggle with simple fastenings on their clothes when changing for PE etc. This book will help practise these simple skills in a fun way.
