Tree card hand printed lino print
Description
This is a hand printed design from my own original lino cut. The design is printed in green on a greetings card measuring 12.8cm x 12.8cm. I have used linseed oil based relief printing ink.
Each print has the title 'Medlar Tree' and is initialled. Each card is protected in a cellophane envelope and is blank inside for your own message.

The second photo below shows my husband reading a book under the actual Medlar tree this summer.

Inspiration
This is a print of the Medlar tree that grows in front of the cottage that I live in. It is a magical tree to me, My grandad remembers looking down from a window at the blackbirds singing in the tree during the first world war! Medlar fruits are from the rosehip family and I have made Medlar wine and jelly this year.
