Lovely organic patterned handmade hobo bag.
Description
Made with a lovely floral pattern with awesome abstract flowers, black and white the fabric is 100% cotton fabric from IKEA. I love this fabric, this is one of my favorite bags.
The bag is fully lined with interfacing to give it support and has a layer of thin wadding to give it its padded look. Also I have piped around the edges using natural cord and white fabric.
The bag fastens with large flap with a magnetic silver snap. It also features silver poppet’s attached to the top sides of the bag which can be opened to expand the bag (see picture 4)
The bag is fully lined inside with a black coloured cotton with my handmade labels attached. It also has a large pocket flap.
The recycled strap is excellent quality black imitation leather connected by large silver D rings. It is 72cm by 2.5cm when it is fully expanded. The length can be adjusted by the metal clasp.

This bag took around 6 hours to make and I loved every minute of it :)

Inspiration
I use all high quality materials for my bags with the exception of the handles which I recycle from unwanted handbags. I often go to charity shops and car boot sales in search for handbags which I then dissemble and reuse parts such as, cool fastenings, handles, material and anything metal.
