'She came upon a low curtain she had not noticed before, and behind it was a little door about fifteen inches high: she tried the little golden key in the lock, and to her great delight it fitted!'

I've taken a vintage pocket watch back plate (43mm) and decoupaged an illustration of Alice pulling back the curtain and trying the key in the door onto it. On top of the image, just where the door is, I've attached a vintage wristwatch movement (19mm long with gleaming little ruby jewels !), to give a sense of time unwinding. So sweet and whimsical, oh and really girlie !

The chain (20") is a combination of a blue czech glass bead, etched links, millefiori blue glass squares, a vintage clock wheel and vintage tone belcher chain. In amongst this and hanging from the chain is a vintage key (35mm long) for Alice to use for the tiny door.
