Oatmeal Baker Style Crocheted Hat with Button Detail, for the person who likes something a bit different.

This is a hand Crocheted fantasy style hat, for an adult or a teen and is a real festive flight of fancy.

Crocheted in 100% Acrylic cream yarn and teamed with a mottled beige and brown mohair yarn, with a vintage button accent on top of the crown, and two little buttons either side of the little peak. These have been securely sewn to the hat, so cannot be removed.

This lovely crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.

This is a festive inspired style hat, for those in a jaunty mood. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre point of the bowl of the hat, angling so as to give the appearance of seperate sections, but all crocheted in one piece and increasing down to the body , I then decreased the number of stitches to develop the narrow band and increased to incorporate a peak. Therefore, there are no seams, or joins in the body of the hat.

The hat is simply trimmed as shown and described, but you could always further adorn it with ribbon or a brooch if you like, or wear it as it has been created.

This is a hat for the decerning person, or teen who likes to wear unique items and would fit a small to medium sized lady, approx 55cms head circumference, but has considerable give in the yarn, as crocheted on a medium hook to give a loose stitch.
