Warring Demons is a 6 voice stereo optical theremin.

It produces 6 square waves at similar but generally unrelated pitches so produces atonal sounds. The pitch of each square wave is controlled by its own light detector. These modulate each other and are paired off into 3 waveforms in the left channel and 3 waveforms in the right.

It is powered by a single 9v battery (Not included). The switch on the side is a power switch. The output is via a 3.5 mm socket at line out level. Please note this is not a headphone socket, you will need something suitable to amplify the output e.g. a stereo with aux in, computer speakers, a soundcard input etc.

It comes with an instruction CDR which also contains a FREE set of build instructions.
