These lovely brooches are made from a selection of vintage green buttons and recycled leather.

Each brooch is made with 5 buttons, all vintage, all different sizes, hand stitched onto leather which is then cut to follow the bubble shape formed by the buttons. An identical shaped piece of leather is used for the back of the brooch onto which is stitched a standard nickel brooch pin. The back and front have been hand stitched together, using blanket stitch, with green embroidery thread to compliment the colour of the buttons.
