Meet Sock Bunny Guy...
Guy measures 25cm from head to feet, not including his knotted ears which are 10cm long. He’s made from a brand new pair of white trainer socks decorated with a monkey face motif. He has a turquoise face and bottom and is stuffed with polyfil. He has hand sewn felt features including a beige nose and lilac eyes - no hard bits - so he's very soft and squidgy!
Inspiration
The bunnies are the first sock animal designed using trainer socks as the proportions are just right for neck and body to meet with a decent chunk of sock remaining for a good long pair of ears. I love putting the faces on so I always leave this until last – each one has a slightly different expression as I cut all the felt pieces freehand.
