This is a gorgeous brooch featuring a brass hare and an image of a swallow taken from a Victorian book illustration, combined with a script background.

The image has been printed with archival pigment ink and sealed for longevity, then encased behind a glass cabochon. The glass has the lovely effect of magnifying the image.
