Gocco printed Brooch feather embroidered cotton brooch... wearable art!

Beautiful gocco printed pheasant feathers from my original drawing which I translated to a gocco screen and printed on 100% cotton. The feathers were then appliquéd on to a felt backing and ribbon and button embellishments were added.

Brooch is made from 2 felt shapes with interfacing sandwiched between them to strengthen and stiffen the brooch. It fastens with a sturdy safety pin which has been sewn securely to the back. The bows and buttons are from my vast haberdashery collection which I have been hoarding for the right project!

Measures 5" long 2" at widest point

This beautiful brooch looks great on a denim jacket or would look fantastic pinned on a plain bag as decoration.
