This piece was turned from purpleheart, a wood of Central America. The outside surface has been textured using a wire brush and then scorched with a blow torch. Green metallic paint was then applied before adding bronze coloured metal studs. The inside and base have a matt black finish giving a nice contrast.
Signed and dated with English and Runic lettering.
