The dress pattern was my main inspiration. I'd also been looking at tuffin and foale's collections and alot of sixties vogue. The lace was perhaps (unknown to me) influenced by the many lace dresses I'd seen in contemporary fashion. Also I had a big roll of this lace and had been waiting for the best opportunity to use it.
