Why Birds Sing Wood Warbler Gocco Limited Edition Book Print
Description
This Beautiful Wood Warbler is drawn by my own hands and translated on to a screen for screen printing is printed on lovely old music from a beautiful but sadly neglected book I found in a local charity store buried under a lot of knitting patterns.
The Wood Warbler is an incredible bird, despite being tiny and weighing less than 10 grams each bird makes a round trip from Africa to the UK and parts of Europe every year. That's a lot of air miles. This bird is a joyful Warbler in mid song.
This print is on a genuine vintage book page from Why Birds Sing by Jaques Delamain published in 1933. The paper is a lovely creamy aged colour and is quite thick. Measures 4.75 Inches by 7 inches (12cm x 8.25cms) print covers and area of 4 x6 inches (15cms x 9cms)
