'Looping Dragon' traditionally carved cream jade amulet, fashioned into a keyring, with the addition of a silvertone triangle bail and Karabiner style clasp.
This is a lovely amulet, superbly carved and smoothed, so very tactile. I have simply fitted it with a silvertone triangle bail and large Karabiner style clasp, so this item can be used as a keyring or handbag charm if you prefer, so that it is accessible as a useful item to all.
The cream Jade is beautifully translucent and cool to the touch. The approximate measurements of the jade amulet alone, when held straigh,t is that it is approx 5.2cms in length, approx 3.8cms in width and approx 5mms in depth.
I came across this jade amulet and felt it could be made more accessible as a keyring to both ladies and gents, the Jade is durable enough to be used for this, but equally it could be used as a handbag attachment.
As this item is a natural gemstone, it is not unbreakable, so not for robust use.
