Inspiration

My hand drawn rosebuds and rosebud garlands have long been a signature motif of mine. They've featured heavily in all manner of artcards and wedding stationery and wedding decorative accessories over the years (I once hand drew and painted over 12,000 for one set of wedding stationery and accessories for a wedding) and when we got married, my husband and I had a message secretly hand engraved on the inside of our rings (which was only revealed to one another on our wedding day) alongside a hand engraved single stem rosebud. I drew maybe two dozen for the jeweller before we selected our favourite rosebud to be "the one" to be engraved inside our rings!

Currently, in my Folksy shop, you'll see them featured on my hand cut recycled card favour boxes, as well as art cards.
