A set of 4 beads.

These have to be my favourite beads so far. They are rich in colour, sporting some rather fab pink, purple, green, blues and golds.

The beads are part of a limited design range called Aisha. I have only made 9 Aisha pillow beads in total.
They are all individually handmade.

The process for making the beads is time consuming, it involves creating a large patterned cane with the polymer, then reducing it. In this pattern, the cane was then cut into 4 and then placed back together to make a new cane. Once reduced the patterned cane is cut into slices, one of these slices is then adhered to each side of the polymer bead. Once it is ensured that all the air has been released it is shaped by hand. A needle tool is then used to create the hole. The beads are then cured in the oven.

Each bead has been sanded 4 times, to ensure a nice smooth quality.

These beads have also been painted with 4 coats of gloss.

Each bead weighs approx 2-3 g.

Each bead has a width of approx 18mm - 19mm at the widest points.

Each bead has a 2mm hole.

Due to the handmade nature of this item each bead will differ slightly.
