Meet Flame the Mini HooterNinnie…

Flame is a very teeny weeny HooterNinnie and is a lot like our lovely woodland hedgehogs but much softer! At just 7cm from nose to bottom he’s small enough to fit in the palm of an adults hand!

He’s been crocheted using the Japanese style, Amigurumi. This method is very neat as it is worked in a spiral - there are no seams, just a hole at the end of each piece that can be stuffed and then sewn closed. Three different yarns have been used - dark grey for the face, a golden eyelash yarn and orange ribbon yarn for the body, finished off with a knotted tail. He has pearlescent bead eyes, a golden felt nose and is stuffed with polyfil.
