This beautiful little raku bowl has been hand-thrown from stoneware clay and glazed using white and turquoise crackle glazes. Between these two glazes the pot has been left unglazed to reveal a smokey grey band created by the firing process.

This small bowl measures about 8cm x 4cm and bears my own pottery seal near the base. The crackle glazes used in raku pots means they are porous and decorative only: so they should not be used for containing food or liquids. It also means each pot is totally unique and perfect as a gift or beautiful keepsake for someone special.
