Inspiration

These earrings are inspired by my mother's country, Seychelles. I have spent many summers there by the beach soaking the beautiful sights and sounds of Beau Vallon Bay, the town centre Victoria and the cool breezy heights of Bel Air. We often took boat rides to the second biggest island in Seychelles - Praslin. On this island, a very special fruit grows there called the CoCo de Mer. There are two types - one looks like the female form (the earrings I have made) and the male version of the fruit looks like the male form. They only grow on this island, nowhere else, and of course Kew Gardens!

They are said to be an aphrodisiac...enjoy!
