Inspiration
I love the, almost gothic, dormers on these one-and-a-half Highland cottages. The roof-line, including the chimneys and window roofs, and the unusual ninety degree union of the two halves for the cottage, provided an interesting rhythm, which I reflected in the rest of the composition.
