Inspiration

An interpretation of a volcanic feature on the Isle of Eigg, Inner Hebrides, Scotland. The watercolour is laid onto the surface thick, and undiluted, for maximum colouration. This was in response to a glib comment someone made at a gallery "acrylics are a bit brighter than watercolour, aren't they?"
