This piece of textile, fibre art was inspired by the marine life of the Cape Province of South Africa and is part of a series I am working on and an ongoing theme.

It incorporates silk embroidery thread on felt and features little glass beads. It is appliqued to deep edged 4x4 inch canvas painted using acrylic paint, and sealed with a matte varnish.

The piece is signed and dated on the back.
