Description
This lovely pendant features a vintage travel poster advertising San Francisco. I have decoupaged the artwork onto a high-clarity glass tile, which magnifies and enhances the image so you get really deep colour intensity. It's mounted on a sterling silver bail and strung on a satin ribbon (it's shown here with a blue ribbon, but if you'd prefer another colour just specify this at checkout).
Inspiration
I wanted to find a way to make beautiful images wearable as jewellery, and experimented with a few techniques before I found the beautiful high-clarity glass used in these pendants and rings. I chose to use the glass because of the effect it has on colour images of drawing out and deepening the detail and colour in the design. I've sourced some new and some vintage artwork to create a variety of designs for this range.
