Description
Original watercolour painted with the finest quality Winsor and Newton artist paints and Indian ink on Bockingford acid-free watercolour paper. Overall approx 8 x 6 inches. Signed by myself.
To be sold unframed and unmounted.
Inspiration
I had a strong image of silhouettes of reeds and grasses set against a low moon fixed in my mind. I choose Indian ink, rather than lamp black, for its strong, permanent, dark, and its nature of 'breaking-up' when copious amounts of water and granulation medium are trickled through it.
